Our Standard Fire Policy provides protection for residential properties, commercial buildings, and other property from the perils of fire and lightning, with the option to expand coverage to include risks such as flood, inundation, landslide, earthquake, storm, malicious damages, etc. Additionally, coverage may be extended to include structures such as garages, sheds, and fences, depending on the policy's terms and conditions.
Coverage:
- Material damage by Fire/lightning and allied perils (if cover availed)
- Damage to property due to water or other fire-extinguishing appliance used in extinguishing/controlling fire.
- Damage to property caused by legitimate acts of fire Brigade.
- Damage to insured property during removal from burning building.
Exclusion:
- Loss or damage caused by War, civil War, Nuclear weapons, Radioactivity and the like.
- Theft during or after occurrence of fire.
- Burning of goods or demolition of property under orders of any public authority.
- Subterranean Fire.
- Goods held in trust or on commission.
- Bullions or unset precious stone.
- Documents, computer record systems.
- Assets insured, if removed to any building or place other than in which it is stated to be insured.
- Loss or damage to properties insured but not as declared in the proposal form.
- Damage to properties due to falling of objects from aircraft or aircraft itself.
