Personal Accident Insurance is designed to provide financial relief to an individual in the event of death, disablement or injury arising out of accidents.

Coverage:

• Death, Permanent/Partial/Temporary Disablement
• Loss of limbs and eyes

Exclusion:

• Death, disablement or injury arising from (a) intentional self-injury, suicide or attempted suicide, (b) Whilst under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs. (c) whilst engaging in Aviation or Ballooning, whilst mounting into or dismounting from or travelling in any balloon or aircraft other than as a passenger (are paying or otherwise) in any duly licensed standard type of air craft anywhere in the world (d) directly or indirectly caused by venereal diseases or insanity (e) arising or resulting from the insured committing any breach of law with criminal intent.
• War and Kindred perils.
• Nuclear perils, ionizing radiations etc.
• Pregnancy exclusion- the insurance shall not extend to cover death or disablement resulting directly or indirectly from pregnancy or in consequence thereof.
• Hazardous sports i.e. big game, hunting, skating.
• Medical or surgical treatment (except where such treatment is rendered necessary by bodily injury caused by accident within the scope of this policy)
• Service on duty of Armed Force or while engaged or taking part in or riots of any kind.
• Mountaineering (necessitating the use of guides or ropes) or winter sports.
