Many professional athletes see their careers cut short due to injuries that could have been treated effectively.

With this product, we aim to protect our professional athletes, allowing them to perform at their best and elevate the level of sports in Bhutan. It has a comprehensive coverage plan that combines accidental/disability benefits along with medical expense at an affordable premium rate. This insurance scheme will cover athletes as well as coaches and support staff.

Capital Sum Insured	UPTO USD 12,500
Medical Expense Coverage	Cover the cost of Emergency Medical Treatment and Hospitalization/Surgeries Cost for the treatment of sports related injuries done in India or Bhutan
Personal Accident Cover	Provide financial benefits in the event of demise or disability due to injuries/accident.
Worldwide Cover	The athletes participating in the sporting events in any part of the world would be covered.

Exclusion:

• Pre-existing medical conditions and diseases.
• Physically unfit for the event.
• Suicide, attempted suicide or willfully self-inflicted injury or illness.
• Engagement in any criminal or unlawful activities.
• Claim arising if the insured is intoxicated, under the influence of drugs, alcohol or any other intoxicating substance or medicine which are not prescribed. 
• Injuries arising due to inappropriate/unsafe use of the fitness equipment or gears. 
• Internationally and locally recognized epidemics. 
• Claim arising due to war and other nuclear perils.
• Claims arising due to war and terrorism.
