Motor Third Party Insurance is mandatory under the Road Safety and Transport Act to protect against third-party damage. It's important to note that motor third-party insurance typically does not cover damages to your own vehicle.

Coverage:

• The policy shall be compulsory as per RSTA Act.
• The policy shall cover the risk of legal liability for claims by the public in respect of accidental personal injuries/death or damage to property caused by the insured.
• The policy shall cover Personal Accident for Owner-Driver and Passenger as per the RSTA Act.

Exclusion:

• The policy shall not cover any loss or damage to the insured vehicle itself (Own damage).
